In 1991, Wrangler introduced a line called Timber Creek to compete with Levi Strauss' Dockers™ line.
Wrangler needed to let consumers know that the Timber Creek line was not only great looking and comfortable, but also priced 40% to 50% less than Dockers. A promotion was developed that was until then unheard of in the industry - a 30-day "comfort guarantee" that let a consumer return any Timber Creek item within 30 days for a full refund.
15 years later, the Timber Creek line is still going strong, enjoys powerful market share and has become a viable and important part of the Wrangler line of quality clothing.
